W2: $1,014- $1,105 per day ($67-$72 per hour) 
1099: $1293 per day ($85.38 per hour) 
 
SCHEDULE
14 days on/14 days off hitch schedule
 
POSITION OVERVIEW –  Offshore Construction Decommissioning Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Construction Decommissioning Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient decommissioning of oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, decommissioning procedures, and offshore oil and gas operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all activities related to the decommissioning of oil platforms, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement detailed decommissioning plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee the dismantling, removal, and disposal of offshore structures and equipment.
  • Oversee the pipeline flushing.
  • Ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and personnel involved in the decommissioning process.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to address technical and operational challenges.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to decommissioning activities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the decommissioning team, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the decommissioning process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on decommissioning or offshore oil and gas operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of decommissioning procedures, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a challenging offshore environment and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Valid offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in an offshore environment, including on oil platforms and vessels.
  • Physically fit to perform duties involving lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
