1 year with high likelihood of extension or conversion to full time employee.
POSITION OVERVIEW – Mechanical Technician- Panels
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble components onto panels and into enclosures following mechanical layout and assembly drawings with zero deficiencies.
- Wire components per electrical schematics following predefined guidelines and work standards.
- Capable of completing minor modifications to metal panels and enclosures including cutting, drilling, and tapping.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or minimum 2 years of related industry experience.
- Knowledgeable with panel assembly and wiring.
- Knowledge of UL508A standards.
- Willingness to learn new product.
- 2+ years of manufacturing/assembly/wiring experience.
- Panel assembly and wiring experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
PREFERRED
- Familiar with assembly and wiring a range of drive product including AC & DC drives, variable speed drives, motor exciters, remote I/O stations, and operator stations.-
