SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday (10PM-6AM)
 
CONTRACT TERM
1 Year Contract, with high likelihood of extension or conversion to full time employee.

POSITION OVERVIEW – Material Handler I (Part Washer)
 This position supports daily manufacturing operations by cleaning, washing, and preparing precision components to meet strict production and quality standards. The role involves blowing out residue from buckets and nozzles, loading parts into washers, and accurately completing all required build and operation tracking (BOT) documentation for each work order. The individual will be responsible for maintaining company-provided tools and measuring instruments while adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Candidates must be comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment, lifting up to 50 pounds, wearing required PPE, and working overtime or occasional weekends as needed. Strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and effective communication are critical for success in this role. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Blowing all holes in buckets and nozzles to clear the residue inside.
  • Load and Wash all blown parts in part washer.
  • Fill out all BOT related to each part and each work orders.
  • Maintain tools and measuring instruments supplied by company.
  • Maintain company production and quality standards.
  • Report unusual problems or conditions to supervisor.
  • Observe company safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work occasional weekend shifts
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
  • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government export restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents and protected individuals (e.g., certain refugees and asylees)). GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

  • Strong team player and flexible-willingness to move to different areas
