Monday – Friday, Onsite, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM EST, 40 hours per week

POSITION OVERVIEW – Manufacturing Technician III
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for fabricating and assembling structural components in a shop/manufacturing environment while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manufacture and assemble parts based on work instructions, standard operating procedures, and specifications
• Inspect assembled structures for quality, accuracy, and precision
• Document assembly activities and maintain production records
• Perform routine maintenance on assembly and lab equipment
• Ensure adherence to employee health and safety standards and operational guidelines
• Follow all company safety rules, including proper use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Support manufacturing quality control processes and continuous improvement efforts
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced shop environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work in a shop/manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of employee health and safety practices
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision
• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or structural assembly roles
• Experience with manufacturing quality control processes
• Familiarity with lab equipment maintenance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and compliance standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic production environment
