CONTRACT TERM
1 year with high likelihood of extension or conversion to full time employee.
POSITION OVERVIEW – Manufacturing Engineer IV-CNC Programming
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software. This could include multi-axis milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM.
- Program 3, 4, or 5-axis machines including VMC, VBM, VTL, HBM, HMC, EDM (wire, sinker, fast hole), etc.
- Work on Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controls
- Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing Vericut
- Experience with high-level machine tool controls including sub-routine(macro), Renishaw probing routine, and variable based programming, as well as CLM (closed loop machining)
- Strong problem solving and organization skills, with above average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry.
- Experience machining high temperature superalloys found in HDGT or Aerospace components.
- Provide CNC related support to M.E. (Manufacturing Engineer) and provide operator, programmer, and ME training as required
- Provide daily operator support in the form of CNC programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Machinist Apprentice (or similar) graduate with 3 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming [OR] High School Degree w/6 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming.
