SCHEDULE
Onsite, Monday-Friday, 40 hr/wk 

CONTRACT TERM
1 year contract high likelihood of extension or conversion to full time employee.

POSITION OVERVIEW –The DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between development and operations by automating and streamlining processes. This role involves managing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with teams to improve software delivery. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
  •  Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and reliability. Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance workflows. 
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with standards. 
  • Document processes and provide training to team members.
  • Design, deploy, and support hybrid cloud, edge, and micro data center infrastructure
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software and platform delivery
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code and automated configuration management
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows environments
  • Deploy and support containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, or K3s
  • Maintain networking, segmentation, firewall, VPN, and secure remote access capabilities for lab and infrastructure environments
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening
  • Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards
  • Support resilience of local infrastructure, including backup, recovery, failover, and patching
  • Collaborate with software, electrical, lab, cybersecurity, and operations teams to enable secure and efficient innovation workflows
  • Support integration of lab, engineering, telemetry, and OT-adjacent systems where required
  • Develop technical documentation including runbooks, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and support procedures
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes. 
  • Strong scripting and automation skills. 
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • CI/CD Pipeline experience
