LOCATION
Remote, SC 
 
COMPENSATION
 $49-$56 per hour. Full benefits can be offered
 
SCHEDULE
Remote. Monday-Friday. 8am-5pm EST (40 hours per week) 
 
CONTRACT TERM
1.5 years with high likelihood of extension or conversion to full time employee.
 
POSITION OVERVIEW – Design Liaison Engineer
A Gas Power Design Liaison Engineer on the Sprint team is responsible for the successful management, substantiation and execution of critical engineering drawing changes and tasks. They are to provide technical support, ensure compliance to Client’s processes and ensure all tasks are completed expeditiously and to a high quality standard. 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The successful management, substantiation and timely execution of critical engineering drawing changes and tasks. 
  • Provide expeditious technical and project management support and troubleshooting for engineering activities. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful task completion. 
  • Apply knowledge of design and manufacturing to implement process improvements and/or new ideas that enhance overall function and quality of the parts, reduce cost and reduce defects in manufacturing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering. 
  • Proven experience demonstrating strong project management, teamwork and communication skills, as well as a passion for quality and continuous improvement. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with PLM, NX/UG and Microsoft Suite. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Years of experience in the Gas Turbine industry.-Preferred
