POSITION OVERVIEW – Project Control Analyst
The primary duties of this position include successful leadership of multiple projects and key client relationships for projects in our Energy, Transmission, and Distribution group. Project Controls Specialist supports key client relationships and projects for Energy, Transmission, and Distribution. Responsible for scheduling activities and planning, including concepts and principles that affect financial performance. The Project Controls Specialist will support all aspects of scheduling throughout the project life cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and support schedule development
  • Develop and submit project execution plan, monthly schedule updates, and manage all change management meetings
  • Perform constant analysis of the schedule to identify project schedule variances
  • Collect and update data to produce accurate schedule reports
  • Assist in the development of WBS and schedule logic to implement applicable project coding efforts for procurement, engineering, and financial systems
  • Work with the project team to accurately represent change orders or project impacts in the project schedule
  • Lead project schedule meetings and change order meetings.
  • Understand scheduling concepts (i.e., resource loading, cost loading, sequencing, baseline schedule, total float, percent complete, constraints, critical path, predecessors, successors, near critical paths, etc.)
  • Knowledge of scope control and change management
  • Demonstrated an ability to incorporate direct changes to the schedule baseline
  • Knowledge of Earned Value methodology
  • Familiar with contracting agreements and scheduling impact or implications on contract terms
  • Support monthly reporting to leadership
REQUIREMENTS
  • BA / BS plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and or experience preferred
  • Understand the specification and project design to implement the schedule
  • Management and maintenance of WBS coding experience
  • Experience with the schedule development of Government, Technical, and/or
  • Infrastructural construction projects
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Valid Driver’s License
